4 Month Checkup

Munchkin got her 4 month shots today. Poor Baby...She was not happy at all. She weighed 14lbs.-2 oz. and is 25 inches long.

Check out the new logo...
Just got back from Ft. Worthless. I was spraying our new water-based paint. We're going green along with the rest of the world. Really neat stuff...refinishing cars with water.

Progress

Check out the before pic at the top. My wheels were pretty dingy so I refurbished them. I had my wheel customer re-cut them on the CNC and shave all the scratches off. Then I sand blasted and refinished them with black and flat clearcoat. They look just like a set of wheels that the wheel company owner has on his personal truck. (they're coated with Teflon and cost about $1800 a set) My plan was to duplicate the look. Not bad for free!

Giggle Box

Just spent about 30 minutes talking and laughing with munchkin. She's so funny. It was the most enjoyable conversation I had all day.

On Second Thought

The higher oil prices go...the more it costs to manufacture solvents. Maybe I will go with the flow.

I saw a few new Tahoe Hybrids today. Isn't that an oxymoron? Tahoe Hybrid. (starting at $50,400) Maybe it's for those people somewhere in the middle of hanging on to the SUV craze and not wanting to grasp the thought of driving a $30K Toyota Prius. But, after all gas is $3.25 a gallon. I'm hoping the world doesn't jump on the Hybrid car bandwagon just to help continue the record oil profit scam. We should still be able to drive cars that only get 10mpg and run on gas only. There is no fuel shortage. Just my opinion...and many others' I bet.

Sunday

Went to church and then to Luna's for Lunch and margaritas. Took the Jeep to the island later in the afternoon. The weather was perfect. I think Munchkin had a good time. Hung out with the in-laws at Nir's Beach shops and ate ice cream. This hot young girl tried to pick me up on the beach...so I took her home. Then went to the airport and picked up Bubba.
