Some random fish from the past couple of weekends...

Sunday Fish

Sunday fishin' with Andi and Angela. Lots of shark activity. Andi caught a nice Bonnet Head Shark. I caught two Sharpnose. Released them all. Gafftop, Sheepshead and a few trout and croaker. Great day. Green, green water around the sunken ship. Rough in the morning but smooth by lunch.
There's a whole other world on the saltwater. I almost feel guilty that everyone can't experience it.
Oh yeah, and we rescued a group of people yelling "Help!" and using their air horn in the middle of the bay. Dead batteries. Funny part is, when we pulled up, the men on the boat were still fishin' as the kids yelled and motioned for help.

Headed to Sargent for the weekend. Hardly anyone lives there. No stores. No chains. No big city.

Just saltwater and fish camps!

I don't cook very often because Andi's really the best, but I think I did alright tonight...Flounder, Trout, Zucchini, and Pasta.

Saturday Mornin' Before The World Awakens

Dang, we caught alot of fish. Should've taken more pics. The ray was huge! I had to cut the line, and let him go, after an awesome fight. Great weather. Great boat ride to East bay, the Jetties, and back to Texas City. Thanks, Andi, for making me want to get up at 4:30!

Wrote a note, said "Be back in a minute"
Bought a boat and I sailed off in it
Don't think anybody's gonna miss me anyway.
Mind on a permanent vacation
The ocean is my only medication
Wishin' my condition ain't ever gonna go away.

Monkey really was drivin' the boat.

17 1/2" Redfish. If he was a trout I could've kept him, but I released him. He had two spots on one side, and one on the other. There's something I love about Redfish.

Lee's gave up this one Grandpa Shrimp. You can't tell from the pic, but he was at least 6 inches.
